Inclusive Planning Solutions is a consulting firm providing a variety of services in barrier free design with a specialty in the progressive area of Universal Design.

Reaching beyond the limited scope of earlier forms of barrier free design, Universal Design is an approach that works to create products and environments that are more useable to a greater range of individuals. We specialize in the environmental application of this inclusive design philosophy with a variety of services.

• 16% (1.9 million) of the population in Ontario live with a disability and that number is projected to grow to 20% by 2020.
• Persons with disabilities in Canada have about $25 billion in spending power today.
• In the next ten years, seniors and people with disabilities combined, "will represent between 20 to 25% of the recreation, retail, entertainment, workplace and housing marketplaces"
• The Ontario Building Code (OBC) is the only legislation legally requiring accessibility for builders and architects, but these requirements are limited to new buildings only, and mostly relate to small manual wheelchair accomodations only.
